Colophon
The list of the tools that made this site possible... What? No Mac software? No. I'm a Windows guy. Why? Because I like free software, and there's not a lot of them that can run on a Mac.
- WordPress
- WordPress allows me to do an infinite number of things. From producing a simple weblog to managing a large corporate website, WP (we call it that way...) is able to replace any CMS out there. Plus, it's free and open-source.
- Adobe Photoshop
- The only non-freeware software I use to manage this website. Photoshop is the most complete and 99% perfect image creator, that can handle vector shapes, pixel art and slick web layouts. I know this software is not open-source and/or freeware, but I'm still using it. I may try The GIMP one day...
- Filezilla
- The best FTP client. Masters everything a great FTP client would do. Open-source, still under development, and got plenty of useful features, but the more important is the quality of its basic features.
- Notepad2
- Every bits of code were typed into Notepad2, the best alternative software for Microsoft's Notepad. If MS Notepad was MS Internet Explorer, Notepad2 would be Firefox. It's as simple as that.
- XnView
- The perfect software to view, resize and edit image files. Support every format. Yes, every format. Quite useful for batch-editing files, like multi-converting, multi-resizing; all in one mouse click.
- Mozilla Firefox
- You don't know Firefox? Get outta my site. NOW!
- Spectroscope
- An oldie but a goodie. Perfect color manager.
