exomel v2
After a little bit more than one month of existence, exomel got redesigned. I got inspired by one of Adam Polselli’s color scheme, Chic Simplicity. It’s using Century Gothic font but if you don’t have it on your computer, it will use Verdana font.
The CSS code is very more clean than the previous one. But I still have to fix some bugs, like the sidebar that doesn’t continue to scroll when the main content is shorter than it.
But there’s one good news: the old exomel style is still available for nostalgic people! Just use the sympathic style switcher at your right. So if you don’t like the current design, shut up and click the green button ;-)
I know this new design’s “layout” looks like the old one… but I think this one is very, very nicer. Don’t you? Anyway, tell me what do you think about it…
P.S. - Unlike I did for exomel v1, I may not take your suggestion. I like this design and I don’t think it needs a lot changes. Thanks :-)
P.S. - And no, I didn’t, and probably won’t, change the favicon.

I really like the new design!
Great job!
Site looks WAY better than the older one but I’m glad to see you still kept it around. The new colors look great.
Very nice! I love the colors.
Hum. I was expecting something less classical… It’s nice and neat, but lacks a bit of personality, imho…
Man, I knew you were going to say something like that. It doesn’t look too “classical” for me at all. I made an effort to use a different font than the “classical” Verdana.
Love it, it looks like the other one, but the colours are better!
Good job !
Wow! Remi, I love the new design. You’ve found the perfect balance with the colors! I wish my blog can look as nice as yours…
Quoting Rémi :
” I made an effort to use a different font than the “classical” Verdana.”
The fact about Century Gothic is that it’s not easy to read (a looks like o, I > is it a small “l” like in “look” or a big I like in “Ike Turner”?)…
Classical doesn’t mean I don’t like it, but I’m still searching the Rémi touch somewhere in this design…
It’s also bad that Century Gothic is not installed by default on Mac OS X…
Actually, you might not care about this, but I still see the Watermelon style with Verdana.
And as I like melons (…), I’m staying with the other one :P
New site looks great.
Keep up the good work.
