The deviantART Clothing Contest 4

After years of requests, deviantART is finally launching a line of clothing based on deviant’s creations.

This is not about deviantART as a website, as a company, or as anything else. The deviantART logo doesn’t have to be in the design, the deviantART URL won’t be emblazoned on the garments. This isn’t free advertising for us. This is your design, your talent, your creativity, your shirt. We are your business partners in this, and this is your opportunity to walk in the front door before it closes.

I’m very surprised they don’t have a rule that make the DA logo mandatory on each design. Good luck if you want to participate. I think there will be good entries in that contest. Winners will be announced on March 2nd of the current year.

From here, you can view all the submitted entries.

Your opinion on that green 11

I’m a bit anxious about the current exomel’s design.

  1. How do you feel about it?
  2. Does it look to “Christmas time”?
  3. What do you think of the new header (if you don’t see it, reload this page)?
  4. What would you do to make it better?
  5. Should I redesign the whole thing?
  6. Which sites should I look at to get some inspiration?

OK, I know it’s sounds a bit like “I need help!!! I’m unable to see the problem!!!” but that’s almost my point. So, your opinion, and your suggestions.

Major Update

I tried to remove some green… so reload/refresh this page and see the changes. More pink, less green. And white text in the sidebar. And a melon in the footer image :-)

Now, answer to the same questions above, with the tweaking.

2005 Bloggies 1

2005 is beginning and the nominations for the 2005 Bloggies are open. For my part, I’m gonna submit WordPress in the “Best Application for Weblogs” but I’m not sure of the “Weblog of Year”… there are so many!

One thing that would make my year is a nomination for “Best Canadian Weblog”.

2005 Resolutions 1

OK, I thought I’d never take any resolutions for the current year but when I saw Matt’s one on his weblog, I deicided to write some minor ones. So here’s the list of my resolutions for 2005:

  • Learn MySQL.
  • Beginning a “big” project that I’ll be proud of.
  • Make this weblog known all around the world.
  • Making less typos or english mistakes when writing entries…

OK, I know those resolutions are pretty useless to take but, heck, we need goals, don’t we? Oh, and I also took some “personal” resolutions which I didn’t — and I won’t — mention here.
