Semantic Web (Part 2) 10
So, if you didn’t know it, I’m doing a research (followed by a nifty presentation using Acrobat 6.0) on the Semantic Web. Here’s what I learnt so far:
- Every information on the web is labelled.
- Every label is readable by user agents or human beings.
- The semantic web is like a global database where all the information is structured.
But I got a few questions left:
- What’s a namespace?
- Is there a “huge” difference between URL and URI?
So if you got an answer to one of those questions, feel free to write it in the comments.
