Learning things with WikiPedia

It’s amazing how many things you can learn in Wikipedia. What I’ve learned today, so far.

  • On my 5th birthday (on March 18 1992), Microsoft released Windows 3.1.
  • Khaled Mardam-Bey birthday is one day after mine!
  • My brother is born 100 years exactly after the death of Alexander Mackenzie, the second Prime Minister of Canada.

Wow. Have you ever learned things like that on WikiPedia?

My friend and I modified the “1236″ year, just to realise that the event we put in (Fin de la régence de Blanche de Castille et début véritable du règne de Louis IX (ou saint-Louis).) had three different years throughout the articles :P The Blanche de Castille one says 1234, and the Saint-Louis one, 1242.

How fickle is wikipedia!
