Greasemonkey 1

Just installed Greasemonkey on Firefox, and it’s… wow!

The only problem — well, not problem; what makes it unique — is that it works only on client-side. So, you can write a script to correct a bug on your site, but I’ll only work for you. Except if you force your visitors to download it :-P

Lack of entries

If you are one of the 5 regular reader of this weblog, you probably noticed that I didn’t post a lot during the last weeks. Reasons:

  • New York trip
  • New weblog: élyste
  • End-of-term project at school (which we finished two hours ago)

P.S. - Oh and by the way, I switched back to the Lick theme (which I think is great), ‘cause I got bored of the latest one…

Elyste

As said in my last post, I — with some friends — started a french weblog (called élyste) talking about web standards, semantic web, accessibilty, design, and such.

And to start, we have a nice article by Marc-Antoine talking the different types of web design layout (fixed, liquid, elastic, etc.)

Enjoy! Especially you, french readers! :)

A weblog in french 8

I had an idea yesterday… There are a lot of weblogs talking about web design, standards and such… But not a lot of them are in french.

I told myself, Why not make a weblog in french talking about web development, semantic web, etc. to become a “respected” designer?.

I’ve been realizing few days ago that I’m not very good at writing in english… And I’m a bit better at writing in french. So it would be much easier for me to write articles and/or weblog posts in my first language.

And besides, there are some french/québecois readers in here, aren’t there?

P.S. - I’m not quite sure what the name of the blog would be. Eg: somename.exomel.com.
